The Maine Squeezes

Dear “The Maine”, This isn’t like any ordinary present you boys are probably used to receiving. This is a ‘burn’ book. This book was made by a fan group that is known as ‘The Maine Squeezes.’ TMS came together on your website wearethemaine.net in the introductions forum in our monster thread “Introduction Game, Getting to know each other’ which was started by the creator of this book. TMS have never met and are from all parts of the world, yet we all feel like we’ve known each other for a very long time. A lot of getting to know each other can happen in 11,000+ pages. There was one night in general where we all basically let out things that had been bugging us. Lots of crying went on that night, haha but in a good way. A few of the girls even admitted that they slept at ease for the first time in a long time that night. But I think that’s what sets us apart from other fan groups, we are all close friends…we have never met, we are all pretty different from one another yet we’ve all become friends due to a common interest. The Maine. The reason we decided to make a burn book, degrading and making fun of ourselves is because…well we can. We thought it would be something different and fun. And if you didn’t know the burn book idea was pretty much ripped off of the movie ‘Mean Girl’s’ This whole book is one big insult to ourselves…we don’t take ourselves seriously and this book was pretty much just a fun joke, and a way to let you know TMS care and are out there! Nothing in here is meant to insult you…it’s a joke we love you guys and we hope you can take your own burns found in the back of the book as a funny joke as well… Love, The Maine Squeezes and Glen Coco
